We kept meeting the same kind of business owner. A gas engineer in Crawley running his books off a Facebook page. A mobile hairdresser in Horsham sending clients screenshots of her prices over WhatsApp. A café in Haywards Heath turning away lunch trade because nobody could find their opening hours online.
Every one of them had been quoted £1,500 to £4,000 for a basic website. So they made do. That never sat right with us.

Why £120?
When we priced out our starter package, we asked a simple question: what could a sole trader comfortably pay for a website without wincing?
£120 felt right. It's roughly a day's work for a tradesperson — a fair trade for something that'll earn them leads for years. We use modern tooling to make the economics work, and we'd rather build 500 sites at honest prices than 50 at inflated ones.
